When I first designed this ornament, I sent the image with "Ashton" to my entire email list asking whether my customers preferred the Elf with the clipboard, or if they preferred a plain note made of dough. I received 261 responses. 187 liked the clipboard, 50 wanted the plain note, and 24 gave ambiguous (and often very entertaining) responses. My decision is to do BOTH. I will take only the Elf with the clipboard to shows, but for those who order from my website, I will make the elf with the plain note as well. I cannot get all the same information on the note as I can the clipboard, but I can put up to four children's names and date it with the year you specify.
